White chocolate chip cranberry cookies

This recipe was my favorite on 12Tomatoes, but they have deleted all their recipes and now have their site full of junk.

So I'm dumping the recipe here so I can find it again in the future, since it's not hosted there anymore. Sadly. The instructions are my own, the way I mix and make them. This is doubled from the way 12Tomatoes made them because who wants just two dozen cookies?!

White Chocolate Cranberry Cookies

3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups unsalted butter, room temperature
1 1/2 cups dried cranberries
1 bag (about 1 1/2 c) white chocolate chips
1 cup brown sugar, packed
2/3 cup sugar
2 large eggs
3 teaspoons cornstarch
4 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt

Preheat oven to 350.
In a large bowl or mixer, cream together butter and sugars until fluffy and lightened in color, 3-4 minutes. Beat in egg and vanilla extract, then scrape down sides and beat for another 1 minute.
Add flour, cornstarch, baking soda and salt in that order and then mix until just combined with butter mixture (make sure you get the bottom evenly mixed, too!). Add white chocolate chips and dried cranberries and mix until incorporated. Drop 2" apart on greased cookie sheets and press lightly to just slightly flatten.  Bake for 8-10 minutes.
